Dance Class
Dance class was actually Hailey's idea, she asked me shortly after her birthday if she was now old enough to go to dance. I thought that since she was showing so much interest in it she would really like it; and I thought it was a great idea. Luckily, I didn't have to search at all to find a good teacher. Our friend, Brittani, teaches dance and has her own dance studio in her basement. We joined a class that had just started a few weeks prior and only had three girls in it so far. It was perfect!!! I think it would have been more intimidating for Hailey if there would have been more girls. Anyway, Hailey was still a little shy and preferred to watch the other girls dance until about the last ten minutes, then she agreed to dance only if I helped her. After class, Hailey kept asking me when we were going to go again. She was a little bummed that she would have to wait a whole week. Hopefully she will warm up a little sooner next time and I think she will have so much fun. I have to give a big thanks to Brittani, she is not only a very talented dancer but a talented and creative teacher as well.

Happy Birthday!
I can't believe that another year has come and gone and now my little girl is three years old. She is growing up so fast and sometimes it makes me a little sad. But I absolutely love the age she is at right now, watching her learn new things and being able to talk to her and tell her things that she now understands and remembers.
I had a lot of fun planning her birthday this year. A princess theme seemed perfect for her this year as she is constantly asking her dad or Grandpa if they will be her prince and dance with her or asking Grandma and I to play the part of the wicked step-mother and step-sister so that she can be Cinderella. When I made her invitations the excitement started and she loved them so much it was a little hard for her to give them away.

This year Hailey decided that she wanted to wear her "princess dress" to her party and I was a little surprised that she wore it all night long.Wednesday, January 14, 2009
The Final Days of 2008...
Anyone who knows me already knows that my family runs on CST (Cole Standard Time) which means we are late to everything. So, that is my excuse for not posting these Christmas pictures earlier. (That and being pregnant with twins, taking care of a very active three-year old and working full time is taking every ounce of energy that I have.) But even though they are late, I would have been really disappointed in myself if I wouldn't have posted any at all.

The latest and GREATEST news...

We went to the doctor’s today for an ultrasound and we found out that we are having two boys! We are are very excited and Hailey loved seeing the babies on the ultrasound. However, she hasn’t quite grasped the concept that she has to wait for them to be born. After the doctor’s she kept asking me if the babies were going to come out today. The ultrasound tech also said that according to the the babies measurements I am about 15 ½ weeks instead of 17 ½ weeks. So, that pushes my due date back to May 28th. At least that gives me couple more weeks to prepare. Maybe it is just the holidays, but I feel like time is just flying by. The tech also told me that she only saw one placenta and the membrane separating the babies is really thin, so most likely they will be identical.Saturday, December 6, 2008
Snowbird...

I have been wanting to get some family pictures taken for a while. So, a few weeks ago my cousin Lacie was nice enough to go with us to Snowbird and take our pictures for us. She did such an amazing job, and she took so many great pictures it is going to be really hard to decide which one to use for our Christmas card. It was also really nice to see her and her family (and Marci who came along to help with the kids). We definately don't get to see each other often enough. Her oldest girl, Ayla, and Hailey are only a couple weeks apart and they played so cute together. It was a lot of fun and I can't wait for our new additions to the family so that she can take our pictures again. Thanks Lace!

Halloween Festivities...
...all in one post.
Alright, I have been really slacking on posting anything new. So, I decided to combine all of our Halloween events and post them all at once. (I wanted to post more pictures, but my computer was being really slow with uploading them.)

We went to the Boo at the Zoo with Carly, Brad and Alex. It was absolutely crazy because it was so crowded; but it was still a lot of fun.
The next day we went up to Kristy's house so that Hailey could see her cousins and their costumes. We also got to carve some pumpkins and Hailey was pretty proud of hers even though she had no interest in helping clean it or carve it. (But she is willing to take all of the credit.)
A few days later, we went to Grandma and Grandpa Cole's for a Halloween party. The kids got to play games, decorate cookies and have a parade.
And on Halloween we took Hailey trick-or-treating. She really liked it but she ended up getting tired about half-way through. Afterwards we went over to Bill and Jandie's for a Halloween dinner party. My favorite part of Halloween is seeing all of the different costumes and I really love it when people go all out!
