We survived our first dance class!Dance class was actually Hailey's idea, she asked me shortly after her birthday if she was now old enough to go to dance. I thought that since she was showing so much interest in it she would really like it; and I thought it was a great idea. Luckily, I didn't have to search at all to find a good teacher. Our friend, Brittani, teaches dance and has her own dance studio in her basement. We joined a class that had just started a few weeks prior and only had three girls in it so far. It was perfect!!! I think it would have been more intimidating for Hailey if there would have been more girls. Anyway, Hailey was still a little shy and preferred to watch the other girls dance until about the last ten minutes, then she agreed to dance only if I helped her. After class, Hailey kept asking me when we were going to go again. She was a little bummed that she would have to wait a whole week. Hopefully she will warm up a little sooner next time and I think she will have so much fun. I have to give a big thanks to Brittani, she is not only a very talented dancer but a talented and creative teacher as well.

She looks so cute! Too bad when I was working at DanSkin we didn't think about the future or you could have all kinds of dance clothes for Hailey! Oh the good ol' days.

oh that's cute! I have to tell you that this week Ayla renamed Tayvie "Hailey" and was calling her Hailey all the time. She also named something else Hailey I was going to remember what it was to tell you and of course I forgot. I'll have to think about it! How funny though huh?
