This past Monday I had a doctor's appointment and he gave me the STRONG recommendation to stop working. So, the next day I had to go into work to let them know and tie up a few loose ends. It felt so weird but at the same time I really felt like it was the right thing to do. And after a few days of being able to sleep in and rest whenever I need it, I know it was
definitely the right time. Not only am I feeling better by resting but I have noticed that the babies have been more active. Hopefully this will help the babies go full term, which is the ultimate goal. I'm a little worried of going a little stir crazy, so I'm trying to pick up a few projects that will keep me occupied. I want to crochet some blankets for the babies but other than that I don't really know what else I'm going to do. I would love some input on any really good books to read or other ideas of things to do. I'm not on strict bed rest, but keep in mind that obviously I have to keep things low key.
I have another ultra sound next week, so it will be fun to see how much the babies have grown. And the week after that I will have another doctor's appointment and then start seeing him on a weekly basis. It feels like I have a long way to go, but it is definately going by really fast and I'm starting to feel really unprepared for all of this. But as scared or worried as I get, the excitement always takes over. I love being a mom and I can't wait to have two boys join our family.
