Bed Rest... Sort Of

This past Monday I had a doctor's appointment and he gave me the STRONG recommendation to stop working. So, the next day I had to go into work to let them know and tie up a few loose ends. It felt so weird but at the same time I really felt like it was the right thing to do. And after a few days of being able to sleep in and rest whenever I need it, I know it was definitely the right time. Not only am I feeling better by resting but I have noticed that the babies have been more active. Hopefully this will help the babies go full term, which is the ultimate goal. I'm a little worried of going a little stir crazy, so I'm trying to pick up a few projects that will keep me occupied. I want to crochet some blankets for the babies but other than that I don't really know what else I'm going to do. I would love some input on any really good books to read or other ideas of things to do. I'm not on strict bed rest, but keep in mind that obviously I have to keep things low key.
I have another ultra sound next week, so it will be fun to see how much the babies have grown. And the week after that I will have another doctor's appointment and then start seeing him on a weekly basis. It feels like I have a long way to go, but it is definately going by really fast and I'm starting to feel really unprepared for all of this. But as scared or worried as I get, the excitement always takes over. I love being a mom and I can't wait to have two boys join our family.

Heard you cleaned out your desk and everything! I am sure that you are so gad to just have some time to yourself. You and Wilt have so much going on right now. I can't wait to meet your liitle ones. Alex will have another playmate(s). But it seems to be Hailey might always be his favorite. Glad you are on "bedrest". If you get bored you can always bring hailey over and hang!
